UFC Fight Night 76 Bonus Awards

Following last night’s UFC Fight Night 76 event in Dublin, Ireland the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.

Earning ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors on this occasion was the competitive main card battle between Darren Till and Nicolas Dalby which looked to be going Till’s way in the first two rounds as he got the better the striking exchanges, only for Dalby to rally in the final five minutes with such a sustained assault that it led to a majority draw ruling from the judges.

The first ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus was handed to Tom Breese who stopped Cathal Pendred with a flurry of big punches on the mat late in the first round of their preliminary encounter after initially hurting him with a kick to the body, then dropping him with two straight lefts to the face.

Meanwhile, also scooping up a ‘Peformance Of The Night’ bonus award was Ireland’s own Neil Seery who seized on a guillotine choke as Jon Delos Reyes looked for a takedown late in the second round and locked it in so tightly that by the time they hit the mat it was more seconds before Reyes was forced to tap out.
