Norman Parke defeats Reza Madadi by unanimous decision (30-27 x3)
Darren Till and Nicolas Dalby fight to a majority draw (29-28, 28-28 x2)
This was a fun match-up that should be a contender for ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors. The first couple of rounds leaned towards Till who looked very assured in the stand-up and was finding a home for his left hand with regularity and was controlling the distance well enough that Dalby was often coming up short with his own offense. Till’s biggest moment came in the final seconds of the first round when an almighty uppercut floored Dalby and he followed up with big strikes on the ground until the bell. Dalby never gave up though, and sensing he was coming off second-best he went all out for a finish in the final five minutes. His pressure paid off as he landed some good strikes to start the round, then clipped Till with a head kick which seemed to have an effect as from then on Till was far less cocky than before and often backing up. Dalby was landing plenty of offense as Till’s defense evaporated and he spent much of the remaining minutes in survival mode. He managed to make it to the final bell, but it was such a decisive round in Dalby’s favor that the judges ruled it a majority draw.
Neil Seery defeats Jon Delos Reyes by submission (guillotine choke) at 4.12mins of Rd2
This was a competitive fight with Seery edging the full-blooded striking exchanges, while Reyes was having some success with takedowns. In the first round Seery attempted a guillotine choke to counter a takedown attempt from his opponent, but Reyes escaped. However, a similiar situation occurred in the final minute of the second round and this time Seery had it sunk in deep enough by the time they hit the mat that Reyes was tapping within seconds to earn a submission victory.
