Following yesterday’s UFC Fight Night 79 event in South Korea the recipients of the $50,000 bonus awards were announced.

A woman’s strawweight fight between Seo Hee Ham and Courtney Casey was awarded ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors after they engaged in a tough, gritty 15 minute stand-up battle on the preliminary portion of the card. Despite coming off second best in the opening round, Ham was able to turn things around with a relentless forward drive and offensive pressure to claim a unanimous decision victory.

Meanwhile, Dominique Steele scooped up a ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus after he managed to knock out Dong Hyun Kim (no, not the UFC veteran, a newcomer with the same name!) courtesy of a huge slam takedown.

Finally, the second ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus was handed to Doo Ho Choi who lived up to his nickname of ‘The Korean Superboy’ with a destructive display of striking against Sam Sicilia, rocking him early in the fight with a punch and then not long after dropping him again before finishing with ground and pound.
