One of the big questions leading up to next weekend’s hugely important ‘UFC On FOX 1: Velasquez Vs Dos Santos show is whether the hour long broadcast will feature any footage of the evening’s earlier bouts if the main event finishes early.

Initially UFC president Dana White had suggested that perhaps a highlights package could be shown, or even the co-main event between Ben Henderson and Clay Guida, but during a media conference call today he revealed those ideas are now off the table.

“There’s only going to be one fightThe heavyweight championship fight is the only fight that’s going to be on FOX….even if it only goes 10 seconds,” White told reporters.

That means that if you do want to see them you’ll have to tune into either the UFC’s facebook page or who will both air the entire preliminary card live for free prior to the main broadcast on FOX.

So how will they fill up the hour long show? It’s still not entirely clear, but White did note that both fighters would be interviewed live backstage prior to their fight and while he didn’t say so it’s likely that there will also be pre and post-fight analysis to fill up the remaining time.

During the call White also revealed that the weigh-ins for the event will air live on Fuel TV.
