Following last night’s UFC On FOX 14 event in Sweden the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.
With a string of quick finishes featuring throughout the card the UFC bigwigs opted not to award a ‘Fight Of The Night’ bonus on this occasion and instead dished out four ‘Performance Of The Night’ awards.
The first was handed to Anthony Johnson who ran through top light-heavyweight contender Alexander Gustafsson with big power punches both on the feet and the mat to stun the Swedish crowd into silence.
Despite complaints of a premature stoppage, Gegard Mousasi still managed to clearly rock Dan Henderson in the early stages of their fight in order to claim both a TKO victory and a ‘Performance Of The Night’ award.
Makwan Amirkhani took just 8 seconds to TKO Andy Ogle courtesy of an immediate flying knee followed up with a few punches to seal the deal.
And finally, Kenny Robertson also earned a Performance bonus for his first round knockout of Sultan Aliev.
