UFC On FOX 15 TV Ratings

Saturday night’s UFC On FOX 15 event was watched by an average of 2,745,000 viewers live on ‘big’ FOX.

That’s down from the 3,049,000 viewers who tuned in to UFC On FOX 14 back in January, though traditionally it’s always been the case that the ratings are down at this time of year during the NFL off-season.

Saturday night’s show peaked with 3,325,000 viewers during the main event of the evening in New Jersey which saw Luke Rockhold submit Lyoto Machida in less than two rounds of fighting, compared with a peak of 3,6500,000 for UFC on FOX 14 headliner Alexander Gustafsson Vs Anthony Johnson.

UFC On FOX 15 also pulled a 1.6 rating for males 18-49 (compared with 1.8 for UFC On FOX 14) and a 1.1 rating for adults 18-49.

The UFC’s next event on FOX takes place on July 25th in Chicago and will deliver a bantamweight title rematch between TJ Dillashaw and Renan Barao plus former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis getting back on the horse against Myles Jury and a woman’s bantamweight No.1 contender bout between Miesha Tate and Jessica Eye.

That’s a good line-up, but even with a title on the line it remains to be seen whether that will be enough to produce good viewing figures as the UFC’s summer shows on FOX generally don’t draw as many eyeballs as their winter offerings.
