The UFC will want to make a good impression when they appear on FOX for the first time in 2012 on Saturday night with a two hour show in Chicago, and the fans in attendance will certainly have a big part to play in producing a good atmosphere.

It’s good news then that the promotion revealed yesterday that tickets for ‘UFC On FOX 2’ have officially sold out.

“The fans in Chicago have wanted us to come back there for a long time and they proved why it’s a great sports town by selling out the United Center. Get ready Chicago! We’re bringing a night of fights that you won’t forget!” White said in a press release.

So far it hasn’t been announced exactly how many seats the United Center in Chicago has been configured for in this instance, though it is known that the arena can hold up to 21,000 fans.

The card will feature two potential no.1 contender bouts, with Rashad Evans angling to get a shot at Jon Jones if he defeats Phil Davis, while Chael Sonnen and Michael Bisping fight in the knowledge that the winner will be next up to fight Anderson Silva.
