Sunday night’s ‘UFC On Versus 4’ event pulled in an average of 744,000 viewers on Versus, figures released today reveal.

That’s up from the 681,000 that tuned in for the previous Versus event, but still considerably lower than the figures the UFC have become accustomed to on the Spike TV network over the years.

Further emphasizing that is the fact that a re-run of Nate Marquart’s fight with Rousimar Palhares which aired at the same time on Spike TV on Sunday night actually drew a slightly higher number, 793,000.

The UFC’s current television deal with Spike TV comes to a close at the end of the year and the rumor is that the UFC will part ways with the network, but today’s ratings data continues to reinforce the reality that regardless of where they go from here it won’t be a simple task to match or exceed the viewing figures they have enjoyed in the past.
