UFC Planning 35 Events For 2014 Including 13 PPV Shows

Dana White announced last night on FOX Sports Live that the UFC are planning to deliver a total of at least 35 events in 2014.

13 of those events will be broadcast on pay-per-view, while a further 14 will land on FOX Sports 1, plus the usual four on FOX, and four on FOX Sports 2.

35 is the most the UFC has ever attempted in a year, though it’s only one more than they held in 2012, and two more than this year.

During the announcement, White also confirmed that UFC On FOX 10 will take place on January 25th in chicago.

UFC 170 was also confirmed for February 22nd in Las Vegas.

No fights have been attached to either show as of yet, but it shouldn’t be too long before they start to fill up.

As far as destinations go, Mexico was noted as being a new market that the UFC are planning to hold an event in during 2014, and White said that, “we’re going everywhere like we always do.”
