The UFC are in the midst of a Fan Expo in Toronto, Canada this weekend prior to UFC 129, but it appears that they are already planning another one for later in the year.

Dana White revealed that Houston, Texas is being targeted for a UFC Fan Expo in October, making it the fifth region to host such an event after Las Vegas, London, Boston and Toronto.

Though there’s no official announcement yet it’s also believed that a UFC event is in the works for Houston on October 8th.

At this stage there’s no indication of who may fight on the card, but if the fan expo and event do coincide on the same weekend then it’s likely there will be some big name bouts lined up for it.

On that note, earlier this week White indicated that Cain Velasquez may well be back in action in October to defend his belt against the winner of Brock Lesnar Vs Junior Dos Santos.

There is also believed to be a UK event in the works for October, but it’s far more likely that Houston would be the destination for a major title fight like that.
