UFC Planning Vegas Show For Same Night As Their Japan Event

Puzzling news emerged today about the UFC’s big plans for February 26th of next year – the night of their long-awaited return to Japanese soil.

In an interview with Yahoo! Sports, UFC president Dana White revealed that for the first time ever they will hold two events on the same night.

“When we go to Japan next year, we are going to be putting on a show at the same time in Las Vegas,” White said.

The Japanese event is being held at 10am local time which will allow it to be broadcast back home in the U.S at the usual time.

When asked how they intend to make this work in terms of TV Coverage White kept his cards close to his chest, stating, “you’ll see.”

White has talked before about putting UFC events on at the same time in different countries, but this is the first time he’s actually put his money where his mouth is. He also stresses tht it won’t be the last time.

“We’ll be doing a lot of that in the future.”
