The UFC have cut several more fighters from their roster with arguably the most notable name on the list being Leonard Garcia.
The former WEC fighter’s release doesn’t come as a surprise though given that he’s lost his last five fights in a row and only has a solitary win in the UFC. He’s been on borrowed time for most of his UFC career, but his all-action, swing-for-the-fences style did allow him to stay on the roster longer than most fighters would have under similar circumstances.
Another WEC veteran Bart Palszewski is also on the cut list after he slumped to three consecutive defeats in the promotion following a promising debut with a KO win over Tyson Griffin back in 2011.
