There was good news for Asian MMA fans today as the UFC announced it has signed a deal with the regions first 24 hour a day HD sports channel ASN (All Sports Network).

The agreement will see ASN  air the promotions live events, beginning with UFC 112 in Abu Dhabi, as well as their UFC Unleashed show and select series of The Ultimate Fighter as well.

The new deal extends the UFC’s broadcasting distribution reach into Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Macau, Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand.

“We are excited to sign a deal with ASN and to distribute UFC on this HD sports channel,” said Dana White in a press release to announce the news. “Asia is a huge market for us, it has a deep-rooted history and appreciation for the martial arts. We are thrilled to be working with ASN and to deliver the UFC to all of our fans in Asia.”
