The UFC are set to visit a new city in Canada this year after reports emerge that Calgary, Alberta is now being targeted for an event in July.

According to Showdown Joe is reporting that July 21st is the date the UFC has in mind to bring an event to the city.

That would place the show somewhere inbetween UFC 148 on July 7th and UFC On FOX 4 on August 4th.

Furthermore, they also expect to come back to Toronto before hitting Montreal in either November of December.

So far no fighters have been announced for these events, but it is worth noting that a Montreal event at the tail event on the year could play host to UFC welterweight champion Georges St.Pierre’s return to action as that’s around the time he’s expected to be back to full fitness following knee surgery.
