Dana White revealed last night that UK fans who paid to watch a live stream of ‘UFC On Versus 6’ on UFC.TV that was supposed to have been free will be offered a refund.

Meanwhile if you are in the UK and happened to miss the event you can now watch is in it’s entirety by visiting the following link at UFC.TV and clicking ‘Watch Now’ (you’ll have to log into the site first though).

Normally UFC events are aired on ESPN UK in the region, but since they don’t have the rights to the Versus shows the promotion had to make alternative arrangements with SKY customers being able to watch the fights on Premier Sports. That left Virgin Media customers out in the cold however and due to a lack of communication from the UFC few realized that it was also going to be available to stream free on UFC.TV as well.

Those who did log into the site at 2am discovered that they were being asked to pay $14.99 to watch the event live, an error on the UFC’s part which they later corrected, but not before many fans had already either paid up or logged off.

“We got the UK fixed, sorry about that! Anyone who paid will get refunded!!!” White confirmed on Twitter.

The fact that those fans who missed out on the show can now watch the replay will no doubt also help soften the blow.
