The ratings are in for the seventh episode of The Ultimate Fighter: Live on FX and unfortunately there’s no sign of the ratings increasing with an average of 1 million viewers tuning into the show.

That’s the same as last week’s episode and continues to mark some of the lowest tv ratings in TUF history.

At this stage it’s hard to see how they are going to raise the ratings for the rest of the season and you’d have to say that at this stage the transition from Spike TV to FX has proven to be a bit of a flop.

That’s not good news as the move to a live format had been touted as ground-breaking, yet so far it’s only made the program more expensive to make, more complicated to maintain and yet isn’t having a positive impact on the ratings.
