Uriah Hall Now Faces Ron Stallings On UFC Fight Night 59 Main Card

Uriah Hall has a new opponent for this weekend’s UFC Fight Night 59 event in Boston after two other fights fell through due to injury.

Hall had originally been set to face Costas Philippou at the show, but he suffered an injury at the turn of the year and Louis Taylor was drafted in as a late replacement.

However, Taylor pulled out at even shorter notice and now the UFC’s attention has turned to Ron Stallings who’s agreed to take the fight on just six days notice.

The 12-6 Stallings will be making his UFC debut on the night and is coming off a decision loss in the CFFC promotion back in November of last year. Prior to that the 31 year-old had won three in a row.

A former TUF finalist, Hall will be making his fifth appearance in the Octagon and has so far compiled a 2-2 record.

After a shaky start in the promotion with performances that failed to live up to the hype surrounding his eye catching displays in the TUF house, Hall has began to find his footing and racked up wins over Chris Leben and Thiago Santos.

With Hall Vs Stallings set the UFC Fight Night 59 main card is once again complete with four fights including a headliner between Conor McGregor and Dennis Siver, plus a strong co-feature offering up Ben Henderson Vs Donald Cerrone III.
