The WEC’s best known star Urijah Faber is all set to make his UFC debut against Eddie Wineland at UFC 128 on March 19th.

The bout between two of the bantamweight contenders top contenders is expected to be the co-main event at the New Jersey event which will be headlined by the 205lb title fight between Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua and Rashad Evans.

“I’m excited about it man, I can’t wait to fight,” Faber says of his long awaited arrival in the UFC. “I’ve been itching to get in there. Eddie Wineland’s a tough dude, one of the cooler cats in the 135lb division, so you know, we’re kind of buddies but we’re going to definitely throwdown and put on a good show.”

In the brief video Faber also confirms that he won’t be coaching The Ultimate Fighter season 13, and additionally notes that the man he had been expected to fight next, 135lb champ Dominick Cruz is set to undergo hand surgery which will keep him out for the time being.
