While Polish promotion KWS’s headline bout between Mariusz Pudzianowski and Eric ‘Butterbean’ Esch wasn’t worth watching, the national anthem beforehand most certainly was.

Watch below as the hero of the hour, AKA Random Polish Singer, hilariously botches his attempt at singing The Star-Spangled Banner, forgetting the lines, making up some new ones, and eventually just fading into the most uncomfortable silence of 2010 so far.

The fight between Pudz and Esch could have been a three round war for the ages and still paled in comparison to this stellar moment in sports entertainment.

Random Polish Singer, we salute you!

Update: We’ve now sourced a higher quality version of the rendition so you can all hear this the way it was meant to be heard.  No need to thank us, we do this purely for the love of the music…

lol, don’t worry, no-one blames the Pole’s for this guy’s terrible singing! Apart from this KSW put on a good show.

  3. What a shame for my f*ckin country, and i apologize to all Americans for this mutherf*cker, who f*cked up your national anthem !!

  4. As an American I found that infinitely more entertaining than the usual “proper” anthem. Don’t worry about it Poland, your ring girls more than make up for it.
