Bellator star Michael ‘Venom’ Page made his boxing debut last night in some style.

MVP was going up against Jonathan Castano, a Spanish journeyman with only two wins to his name in his previous fourteen bouts at the Hayemaker Ringstar event at the 02 arena in London.

As in his MMA career, MVP was as flashy and unorthadox as ever, and it paid off for him in the second round when a crushing right hand that dropped Castano hard, and though he’d struggle back to his feet before the 10-count ended, the referee decided he’d had enough.

So, the 30-year-old Page is now 1-0 as a pro-boxer in addition to also being undefeated in his 12-fight MMA career, giving the star plenty of options for the future in both sports.
