Watch Rich Franklin In Agony As His Glove Is Removed After Breaking His Arm At UFC 115

Rich Franklin showed remarkable courage to continue fighting against Chuck Liddell on Saturday night at UFC 115 despite breaking his arm early in the opening round.

His decision to keep fighting paid off when he knocked out Liddell with just seconds of the round left, but in the locker room later after the adrenalin had worn off the pain really started to kick in.

Credit to the former middleweight champion though for cracking a joke while clearly in considerable discomfort though.

“Do you want to sit down?” the doctor asks as he groans in pain as his glove is removed.

“No, it’s my arm, not my leg,” he quipped before adding, “that’s the best humor I got right now, doc!”

It was later revealed that Franklin had broken the ulna bone in his forearm and requires surgery to have plates and screws placed in his arm.
