Here we go again people. Today the UFC will bring together welterweight champion Georges St.Pierre and Nick Diaz for a press conference to officially announce their headline fight at UFC 158 on March 16th and you can watch it right here live.
Of course the last time the UFC attempted to put on a presser featuring these two stars all the back in 2011 for UFC 137 it quickly turned into a farce with Diaz failing to make an appearance which resulted in UFC President Dana White dramatically announcing in front of the press that the fighter was going to be removed from the fight.
Will Diaz have learned his lesson and turn up this time? If it was any other fighter then I’d say yes, but this is Nick Diaz we’re talking about so who knows. If he does then it’ll be intriguing to see what both he and GSP have to say as there’s a considerable amount of bad blood between these two.
