After a night in which the featherweight division declared a new champion in Jose Aldo, the WEC announced who had won the $10,000 bonus awards from the event.

First up the new featherweight champion Jose Aldo earned the ‘Knockout Of The Night’ award for his second round demolition of Mike Thomas Brown.

Meanwhile Submission Of The Night went to Shane Roller who left it until the third round to sink in a fight ending rear naked choke on Danny Castillo.

Finally, Fight Of The Night was awarded to the undercard bout between Cub Swanson and John Franci which went nigh on the full three rounds before Swanson pulled off a guillotine choke to claim victory.
