With the WEC’s top draw Urijah Faber in tow, the promotion drew 10,027 fans to the Arco Arena in Sacremento, California, for a $550,000 gate.

‘Fight Of The Night’ went to the curtain raiser for the evening between Will Campuzano and Coty Wheeler, earning each an additional $10,000 bonus.

The home-town hero Faber picked up the ‘Submission Of The Night’ award after he produced a rear-naked choke which forced Raphael Assuncao to tap late in the third round of their fight.

Unfortunately the $10,000 for ‘Knockout Of The Night’ went unclaimed on this occasion since none of the bouts on the card were finished by KO or TKO.
