Topping the fighter salaries for this past weekend’s WEC 47 event was Joseph Benavidez, who’s base pay and bonus earned him $29,000.

The man he defeated, Miguel Torres was up next with a $26,000 paycheck.  New bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz picked up $18,000 for his victory, while Jens Pulver received just $14,000 despite his legendary status, putting him equal with Leonard Garcia, and a little below Scott Jorgensen who went home with $16,000.
