There were some absolute wars at the WEC 48: Aldo Vs Faber event last Saturday, and as a result several of the fighters now face lengthy periods on the treatment table before they can get back into action.

Many of the names on the medical suspension list will comes as no surprise.  Urijah Faber will be out for six months due to his injured thigh / knee, though as with many of the other fighters that have been suspended he can come back quicker if approved by a doctor.

Meanwhile Leonard Garcia suffered a right hand fracture and his opponent Chan Sung Jung received a fractured forearm after their epic encounter which will go down as one of the most memorable in the history of the promotion.

Scott Jorgensen also is out for 180 days with a fractured left metacarpal (hand), along with Antonio Banuelos for a broken nose, Anthony Pettis for a right foot fracture, Demetrious Johnson for a right thumb fracture, and Brad Pickett for a broken Clavicle.

Rani Yahya suspended for 60 days or cleared by physician for left eye laceration
Brandon Visher suspended 45 days and needs new physical
