At the WEC’s last ever event on Thursday night Ben Henderson and Anthony Pettis will fight to establish who will go down in the records at the promotion’s final lightweight champion, and decide who becomes the No.1 contender in the UFC’s 155lb division.

On Friday’s edition of HDNet’s Inside MMA show both Henderson and Pettis were shown discussing their upcoming fight, and it’s clear they both have respect for one another’s skills.

“He’s relentless man,” Pettis says of the current champion.  “He’s a wrestler, he’s a good striker, he’s good everywhere.  So this is a fight where I got to prepare for anything and everything, and I’m just focusing on becoming a better fighter everywhere.”

“He’s a good guy, he’s a good fighter,” Henderson says in response.  “He’s very unpredictable, so I got to watch out for that.  I wanna keep him guessing, I don’t want to worry about his unpredictability.”
