World Series Of Fighting’s fourth event drew an average of 264,000 viewers on NBC Sports this past Saturday night.
That’s WSOF’s biggest audience to date on the network, beating out the 210,000 viewers who tuned in for their second show headlined by Andrei Arlovski Vs Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson back in March.
It’s good news for the promotion, particularly as this event’s headliner between Tyrone Spong and Angel DeAnda didn’t have the same level of star power.
It was a well-rounded show though with familiar names like Tyson Griffin, ‘JZ’ Cavalcante, Marlon Moraes and Ray Sefo competing along with Nick Newell who’s generated significant interest in his career due to the fact that he competes despite having only one hand.
The promotion will hope that they can continue the upwards momentum with their next show on September 2nd which will feature a heavyweight main event between Andrei Arlovski and Mike Kyle.
