WSOF 27 Results

World Series Of Fighting 27 took place last night in Memphis and we’ve got all the results for you below.

In the main event of the evening late replacement Luiz Firmino was able to overcome Caros Fodor by unanimous decision (29-28 x3), employing a grinding strategy with clinch work, takedowns and control on top to eek out a win on the scorecards.

Meanwhile, in the co-main event Shamil Gamzatov took just 2.32mins to finish Teddy Holder. A right hand to Holder’s left eye early in the fight was the precursor to the stoppage. Holder called for a stoppage, but it wasn’t an eye poke and so the action continued and Gamzatov capitalized by landing another right which dropped Holder to the canvas. Ground and pound quickly followed, leading to the TKO stoppage.
