Bellator 144 took place night and we’ve got all the results for you below.

In the main event of the evening Rafael Carvalho produced an upset victory over Brandon Halsey to end his undefeated record and become Bellator’s new middleweight champion.

Halsey, who was stripped of the title earlier in the year after failing to make weight for a fight, looked to be in control of the contest from the start, securing several takedowns and threatening with submissions. However, in the second round the tables turned in the blink of an eye as Carvalho landed a liver kick that folded Halsey and rendered him unable to defend himself as more punches followed, leading to the TKO stoppage with 1.42mins on the clock.

In the co-main event Brennan Ward claimed a first round TKO finish against Dennis Olson, dominating him througout the first round before dropping him with a right hand and unleashing quick-fire flurries of punches to seal the deal at 4.37mins.

earlier Goiti Yamauchi stopped his fight with Isao Kobayashi from going to the judges with a well deserved rear-naked choke victory late in the third round, while Michael Page appeared to break Charlie Ontiveros jaw during a vicious elbow assault on the mat en-route to a first round TKO stoppage.
