Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contenders Series Week 8 Results

This season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contenders Series drew to a close last night with no less than three fighters managing to secure contracts with the UFC.

Matt Frevola claimed the only submission of the night, locking in an arm-triangle choke in the second round of the main event against Jose Flores, and that was enough to convince White to bring him into the UFC’s lightweight ranks.

Meanwhile, on short notice Lauren Mueller earned a clean sweep on the scorecards after her fight with Kelly McGill, taking the up-and-comer’s record to 4-0 and paving the way for her to get a chance to show what she can do in the UFC women’s bantamweight division.

In the opening fight of the evening, Allen Crowder left it late to seal a TKO victory over Don’Tale Mayes in the final minute of the bout, and with the UFC being in need of fresh blood in the heavyweight roster, he also gets a contract.
