EA Sports UFC finally has a release date – it’s set to land in stores on June 17th for PS4 and XBOX One.

Along with a new trailer today, EA also had a special surprise with the unveiling of martial arts legend Bruce Lee as a playable character in the game.

Players can either pre-order the game to get the iconic superstar on day one, or unlock him in-game for free by completing career mode on the ‘pro’ difficulty level.

While Lee passed away before mixed martial arts was invented, he’s often considered one of the forefathers of the sport, partly due to his forward-thinking philosophy that to be a good fighter you had to learn more than one discipline, and partly because many fighters cite him as the reason they originally became involved in MMA.
