UFC Fight Night 108 TV Ratings

The numbers are in for Saturday night’s UFC Fight Night 108 and show that an average of 745,000 viewers tuned in on FOX Sports 1.

The night’s viewing had actually started on FOX Sports 2 due to a baseball game running late on FS1.

That actually turned out to be good news for FS2, as Jake Ellenberger Vs Mike Perry drew 430,000 viewers, making it the second most watched show ever on the channel.

Earlier, the preliminary card on FS2 had averaged 320,000 viewers, making that the eighth most-watched show in the channel’s history.

The rest of the card aired as planned on FS1 and the numbers there were more disappointing, with 745,000 being significantly below the average you’d expected to see for a ‘Fight Night’ show on the channel.

That could partly be down to the puzzling main event, which saw the No.3 ranked featherweight Cub Swanson going up against the unranked Artem Lobov, though here were still a number of other solid fights on Saturday night’s show, including Al Iaquinta Vs Diego Sanchez and John Dodson Vs Eddie Wineland.

However, it should also be noted that the event was going up against stiff opposition from other sporting events on the night, such as NBA and NHL playoffs as well as boxing.
