UFC Fight Night 232 Bonus Awards

Following last night’s UFC Fight Night 232 event in Las Vegas the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.

On this occasion there were four ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonuses dished out, including Brendan Allen, who was able to hurt Paul Craig on the feet and dominate him on the mat before sinking in a fight-ending rear-naked choke submission in the third round.

Amanda Ribas also pocketed a performance bonus after she endured a tough first round against Luana Pinheiro that left her face bloodied and swollen, then took the fight to her opponent in the rounds that followed to gain the upperhand and set up a big TKO finish in the third, landing a spinning head kick along the way.

Joanderson Brito claimed the ultimate revenge move against Jonathan Pearce after being taunted by him in the second round of their preliminary card fight. Pearce could be heard on the broadcast repeatedly saying, “Get up and do something about it boy,” as he controlled the action on top. Unfortunately for him Brito took that literally and soon after found his way back to his feet, then dropped back down to the mat with a ninja choke locked in to force a swift tap-out!

Finally, Jeka Saragih earned his performance bonus after a swift knockout victory over Lucas Alexander courtesy of a big right hand only 91 seconds into the fight.
