UFC Fight Night 49: Henderson Vs Dos Anjos this past Saturday evening drew an average of 689,000 viewers on FOX Sports 1.

That’s down 234,000 viewers compared to UFC Fight Night 47: Bader Vs St. Preux, the last live show to air on FS1 a week earlier.

It’s quite a significant drop, particularly given that Henderson is a more established headliner than Bader. That aside the two events, which both had six fights on the main card, were somewhat comparable, though UFC Fight Night 47 had the stronger co-main event in Ross Pearson Vs Gray Maynard.

Perhaps the fact that it was airing just hours after UFC Fight Night 48: Bisping Vs Le on UFC Fight Pass may have contributed to less viewers remaining tuned in for the later show.

Both UFC FN47 and FN49 delivered entertaning finishes for those who did tune in with five out of the six main card fights on each show ending in either a knockout or submission.
