UFC On ESPN 49 preliminary card fighter Istela Nunes suffered a sickening elbow dislocation during her fight against Viktoriya Dudakova last night.
Dana White later posted a video clip of the alarming moment early in the opening round when a takedown from Dudakova led to Nunes elbow bending in completely the wrong direction, resulting in her screaming in pain and the fight being brought to an abrupt end by TKO just 34 seconds into the fight.

Nunes was rushed to hospital, but good news came later that evening when Dana White posted an x-ray update that showed Nunes elbow was thankfully now back where it should be.

To add to Nunes woes, that’s now her 4th loss in a row since joining the UFC in October of 2021, while the freak accident handed Contender Series recruit Dudakova a win in her promotional debut.
