If there was any doubt that Wanderlei Silva does indeed want to fight Chael Sonnen then it will be quickly dispelled after ‘The Axe Murderer’s’ latest video blog in which he rants at his rival for a full five minutes.
He labels Sonnen, “a coward”, “a butt-head” and vows to knock out his teeth and make him swallow them in perhaps the most fired-up speech we’ve ever seen from the 37 year-old.
The timing off it is slightly odd given that it comes just a day after Dana White claimed that the fight might not happen because Silva was demanding a cut of the pay-per-view money.
However, Silva’s latest video rant suggests that he’s willing to put the money issues to one side and agree to this fight in order to settle an old score with ‘The American Gangster’.
So far Sonnen’s not replied, but we all know it’s only a matter of time before he does!
