Alex Caceres got back to winning ways in style tonight at UFC Fight Night 216 with a big head kick finish over Julian Erosa in the opening round.
Round One:
Leg kick for Caceres. He lands a nice inside leg kick now. Inside leg kick from Erosa. Body kick from Erosa.
Low kick from Caceres. A couple of leg kicks from Erosa and then a right hand. Body punch from Caceres as he surges forward.
Low inside leg kick from Erosa. Spinning kick to the body by Caceres. Leg kick from Erosa. Another leg kick from Caceres.
Side kick from Caceres. Body punch from Erosa. Inside leg kick for Erosa. Nice uppercut from Caceres. He throws in an overhand left.
switch kick to the body from Erosa. He lands another nice body kick. Caceres misses a left hand, but then throws a left head kick right behind it that lands cleanly and drops Erosa hard! Great set-up from Caceres and the reward after a few follow-up ground-and-pound blows is a highlight-reel TKO victory at 3.04mins of the first round.
Erosa tries to struggle back to his feet soon afterwards and his legs give way as he staggers across the Octagon, clearly still rocked and in no position to continue.
