UFC On ESPN 59: Namajunas vs. Cortez Fight Card

UFC On ESPN 59 takes place this coming Saturday night in Denver, Colorado and you can check out the full fight card below.

This event is the latest to suffer from a series of withdrawals, and that includes in the main event where Rose Namajunas had expected to fight Maycee Barber, but will instead now be going up against Tracy Cortez, who comes in on a couple of weeks notice. Namajunas beat Amanda Nunes last time out, while Cortez is 5-0 in the UFC so far.

In the co-main event Santiago Ponzinibbio will attempt to bounce back from a KO loss to Kevin Holland over a year ago when he goes up against Muslim Salikhov, who also suffered a knockout loss back in February.

With Mike Davis out due to an injury, Drew Dober will now attempt to bounce back from a loss in February against late replacement Jean Silva, who comes in on a little over a week’s notice, who KO’d Charles Jourdain at UFC 303 at the end of last month.

Gabriel Bonfim’s unbeaten record came to an end last time out when he was TKO’d by Nicolas Dalby and now looks to return to winning ways against Ange Loosa, who is unbeaten in his last three fights, though his last bout ended in a no-contest ruling due to an accidental eyepoke.

Julian Erosa started the year off with a submission win and now fights Christian Rodriguez, who is on a four-fight winning streak.

As things stand opening up the main card will be Cody Brundage, who was beaten by Bo Nickal on the main card of UFC 300 and now takes on Abdul Razak Alhassan, who was submitted by Joe Pyfer in his last Octagon appearance.
