Brendan Allen Went ‘All In’ On Marvin Vettori During Brawl After PFL Event

Brendan Allen has been caught on camera unleashing a flurry of punches at fellow UFC middleweight Marvin Vettori during a brawl at a casino in Hollywood after last night’s PFL 8 event.

Prior to the scuffle the 30-year-old Vettori is alleged to have thrown a punch at UFC heavyweight fighter George ‘Tuco’ Tuccos, and that appears to have been the catalyst for Allen to get involved.

The video footage begins at that stage, showing Allen living up to his ‘All In’ nickname as he suddenly bursts forward towards Vettori while firing off a series of punches, landing a clean straight right and one or two more blows behind that as his rival backs up.

Vettori bumps into a chair as he backs up, but manages to stay upright and is trying to get at Allen as a group of bystanders intervene to hold them apart.

Dana White was later informed of the scuffle, and while he didn’t seem overly concerned that two of his fighters were involved, he did use it as a chance to take a pop at rival promotion PFL.

“Had to be Fight of the Night if it was at PFL,” White replied.

Allen and Vettori were actually scheduled to fight back in April at UFC Fight Night 240, but Vettori withdrew from the fight due to an injury.

Allen then went on to fight Chris Curtis instead and won by split-decision, extending his current winning streak in the UFC to seven fights while moving up to No.7 in the 185lb rankings.

Meanwhile, Vettori still hasn’t returned to action since then, with his last fight being a unanimous decision loss to Jared Cannonier in June of last year, but the former title challenger is still ranked No.6 in the division.
