Llimbek Akylbek is the bantamweight winner of TUF 34 in unusual circumstances after his opponent Mehemmedeli Osmanli was DQ’d for landing an illegal knee while his opponent was grounded.

Round One

Body punch for Osmanli. He misses with a high kick. Punch for Akylbek and a low kick for osmanli.

Akylbek trying for an overhand. Push kick for Osmanli. He misses with another high kick and then lands a left hand.

Akylbek goes in for a takedown. They roll to the mat and Akylbek does get on top. Akylbek looking for control time. Osmanli is able to scramble back to his feet though.

Osmanli lands a punch and Akylbek stumbles backwards to the mat. Osmanli rushes in and lands a big knee to the head while Akylbek is still grounded, which forces the ref to rush in. Osmanli moves away and Akylbek flops onto his back on the verge of being unconscious.

The fight can’t be allowed to go on after that and so Osmanli is disqualified and Akylbek is declared the winner and next Ultimate Fighter winner in very unusual circumstances at 2:19mins of the opening round.
