Sean Brady will fight Gabriel Bonfim in the main event of UFC Fight Night 293 at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas on November 7th.
Brady’s only fight of the year so far saw him earn a unanimous decision victory over Joaquin Buckley back in May.
Prior to that he’d suffered a 1st round TKO by Michael Morales that ended a solid three-fight winning streak against Leon Edwards, Gilbert Burns and Kelvin Gastelum.
As such, the 33-year-old Brady heads into his next fight sitting at No.5 on the welterweight rankings, one spot above his next opponent.
The 28-year-old Bonfim has compiled a five-fight winning run in the UFC over the past couple of years, including a split-decision win over Stephen Thompson, TKO of Randy Brown and most recently earned a unanimous decision victory against former champion Belal Muhammad just a couple of months ago.
Brady vs. Bonfim fronts a UFC Fight Night 293 event that only has one other fight attached to it at this stage, with Davey Grant set to fight Elijah Smith.
