Mike Perry suffered a dislocated shoulder on his way to a loss against former UFC fighter Brandon Jenkins at Duel Arena 1 last night in Orlando, Florida.
Perry had originally been scheduled to fight Dillon Dannis at the event, but when he pulled out at the last minute, the 34-year-old Jenkins stepped in wielding an 18-12 career record, including an 0-2 run in the UFC a few years ago.
Jenkins started the fight brightly enough, but Perry then started to unleash big power punches to back him up against the ropes.
However, in the process, Perry dislocated his left shoulder and had to back up while assessing the damage.
He tried to fight on for a while longer, but then Jenkins managed to floor him with a hard body kick and follow-up punches to win by TKO at 2:38mins of the 1st round.
