Mansur Abdul-Malik TKO’s Duško Todorović In 1st Round At UFC Fight Night 247

Mansur Abdul-Malik took just half a round to TKO Dusko Todorovic tonight in the main card opener at UFC Fight Night 247 from Las Vegas.

Round One:

Inside leg kick for Tudorovic. Overhand right for Tudorovic, but then Abdul-Malik returns fire and drops his opponent.

Abdul-Malik looking for ground-and-pound on the mat. Tudorovic surviving for now and counters with a leg lock attempt. Abdul-Malik gets free of that attempt and blasts down some heavy ground-and-pound blows.

Tudorovic back on another leg lock attempt. Abdul-Malik gradually works out of that again and goes back to dropping down blows.

Tudorovic able to work his way up now. Abdul-Malik clinches up and lands a nice knee upstairs.

They break apart. Abdul-Malik stalking Tudorovic now. He punches his way into range and then sends a hard knee upstairs that lands flush and sends Tudorovic to the canvas.

Somehow Tudorovic is still conscious, but he’s now on his back woozily still trying to fashion another leg lock opportunity as Abdul-Malik stands over him and blasts him with hard hamerfists. Tudorovic isn’t defending the blows he’s taking and the referee has seen enough, stepping to end the fight. Abdul-Malik wins by TKO at 2.44mins of the first round!
