Former Bellator double-champ Patricio Pitbull put on his best performance in the UFC so far tonight at UFC 331 with a big 1st round KO win over Doo-ho Choi.
Round One
Choi with a body punch. Now a grazing uppercut attempt from him. Fast jab for Choi. Pitbull briefly clinches and lands a knee to the body before separating.
Glancing hook from Choi and a body shot for Pitbull in response. Body kick for Pitbull. Now a nice counter right for him.
Choi with a body shot. Jab for Pitbull. Hard right hand for Pitbull. Pitbull finds a home for his jab nicely.
Pitbull might have Choi hurt here and comes forward with a purposeful combo. Choi gathers himself and fires off a few solid punches of his own.
Two more solid connections for Pitbull now. Now a left hand and then a body shot. Good work from him so far.
Choi with another flurry to try to deter the veteran, but then Pitbull blasts him with a big straight right that rocks Choi badly as he almost freezes on the spot and then sinks to the canvas under fire. Pitbull follows him down to land a few ground-and-pound blows to seal the deal on an impressive KO finish at 3.28mins of the first round.
