Sean Strickland Speaks Out About PSTD After Emotional Podcast With Theo Von

Sean Strickland is known for his outspoken and often controversial tough-guy persona, but it seems that he showed a more vulnerable, emotional side of himself during a recent interview on comedian Theo Von’s popular podcast.

Strickland frequently talks matter-of-factly about his exceptionally troubled childhood, but during his sit-down interview with Von it seems that he may have shed a tear while discussing it, and though he was initially reluctant for the podcast to air, it seems he’s now had a change of heart.

“PTSD can make a strong man weak or a weak man strong,” Strickland wrote on X. “Years and years of abuse just changes you as a man. The hate just doesn’t go away. The sad truth is I’m one of millions, but I only matter because there is a camera in my face… Most people just suffer in silence and drown their demons in alcohol or drugs.”

“Theo, thanks for saying you’d delete the video for me. I wanted you to, hell, [I] still kinda do but at the end of the day.. it’s life…”

The podcast has yet to be posted on Von’s channel, but with Strickland now giving it the greenlight it should appear soon.
