A lightweight fight between Mark Madsen and Drakkar Klose is headed to UFC Fight Night 213 in Las Vegas on October 29th.
A former Olympic wrestling silver medalist, the 38-year-old Madsen is currently 4-0 in his UFC run and remains unbeaten in his 12-fight career overall as he heads into his next fight on less than a months notice.
Madsen’s time in the UFC began with a first round TKO finish against Danilo Belluardo and then a win on the scorecards against Austin Hubbard.
A split decision victory over veteran campaigner Clay Guida followed and most recently he earned unanimous decision victory over Vinc Pichel back in April.
As for the 34-year-old Klose, he holds a 7-2 UFC record and is coming off back-to-back wins 2022 so far.
That began with a second round TKO stoppage of Brandon Jenkins in April, and was followed up by a unanimous decision victory against Rafa Garcia in June.
Madsen vs. Klose joins a UFC Fight Night 213 card that’s expected to be headlined by a featherweight fight between Arnold Allen and Calvin Kattar, while Andrei Arlovski will also be going up against Marcos Rogerio de Lima.
