The first press conference for the eagerly awaited UFC 303 headlining showdown between conor McGregor and Michael Chandler will take place in Dublin, Ireland on June 3rd, less than four weeks out from the event in Las Vegas.
The presser will take place at the 3Arena in Dublin starting at 12pm ET (4pm UK) and also feature Dana White, with tickets being free to the public.
“I haven’t been to Ireland in a while,” Dana White said on X. “The last time I was there was for McGregor vs. Mayweather presser, and it was incredible. And I expect this to be the same.”
“MY FIGHT! MY HOME TOWN!” McGregor stated on Instagram.
“This is going to be fun! See y’all there!” Chandler said.
McGregor is of course making a comeback that’s been almost three years in the making since breaking his leg in the first round of a trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July of 2021.
The soon-to-be 36-year-old McGregor will be attempting to banish the memory of those back-to-back TKO losses to Poirier when he faces the 38-year-old Chandler, a former Bellator champion who has gone 2-3 in the UFC so far and coincidentally is also coming off a loss to ‘The Diamond’.
McGregor and Chandler have previously crossed paths as opposing coaches on the Ultimate Reality show last year and now finally get a chance to lock horns in the Octagon.
