Another new promo has emerged for UFC 145’s big title fight, this time focusing on the current light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
A beat cut up with the famous Muhammed Ali cry of “The champ is here!” plays over the top of a Jones highlight reel, and judging by the initial YouTube reaction some people aren’t happy about the comparison.
Personally I don’t have a problem with it. While it’s always risky to compare a young fighter to an all-time legend, it’s inevitable that it’s going to happen, and more so than any other fighter in the sport at this moment in time Jones does have the potential to put together a legacy that will last the test of time.
