Don’t Boo The UFC Flyweights When Pat Barry Is Within Earshot

The UFC’s flyweights, newest and smallest weight class on the roster, have been getting a less-than-charitable reception from some fans since their introduction recently and it’s starting to get on some people’s nerves.

Following UFC 152 last month UFC president Dana White urged fans who booed the first ever flyweight title fight between Demetrious Johnson and Joseph Benavidez to never buy another PPV event, boldly stating, “I don’t want your money,” and now heavyweight star Pat Barry has also leapt to the 125lb’ers defense.

At ‘UFC On FX 5’ on Friday night during a flyweight bout between John Dodson and Jussier da Silva one fan was being particularly vocal about his displeasure at the event’s taking place inside the cage.

The 244lb Barry didn’t take too kindly to that and eventually confronted the fan, putting him in his place and winning the appreciation from everyone else that had to sit near the douche in question.

Check out Barry describe exactly how it all went down below.
